NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND SUBSEQUENT PUBLIC HEARING

SEMINOLE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY MOVING TO WORK PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/YEAR 1 (JANUARY 1, 2025, TO DECEMBER 31, 2025)

The Seminole County Housing Authority (SCHA) is seeking public input on the Moving to Work (MTW) Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/Year 1 Plan. The Plan describes SCHA's MTW Program activities designed to (1) increase self-sufficiency among families served, (2) reduce costs and achieve greater cost effectiveness in Federal expenditures, and (3) increase housing choices for low-income families. The Plan delineates implementation strategies and time frames for proposed activities and uses of MTW funds for the period of January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. 

The public comment period will begin Thursday, August 15, 2024, and end Monday, September 30, 2024.  SCHA will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.  The SCHA's Board of Commissioners will receive verbal and/or written comments on the Plan.

Public participation in the process is encouraged. All oral and/or written comments submitted by the close of the comment period will be considered. No comments will be considered after the close of the comment period.
