PUBLIC HOUSING APPLICATION STATUS CHECKING

PLEASE DO NOT CALL OUR OFFICE TO CONFIRM IF WE ACCEPTED YOUR APPLICATION.  WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A STATUS OVER THE PHONE. NO LETTERS WILL BE MAILED TO FAMILIES WHO ARE NOT ADDED TO THE LIST. PLEASE READ BELOW TO SEE IF YOUR FAMILY COMPOSITION QUALIFIES TO BE ADDED. WE WILL BE MANUALLY ENTERING APPLICATIONS FOR THOSE HOUSEHOLDS THAT DO FIT THE CRITERIA. THIS WILL BE A TIME CONSUMING PROCESS. WE WILL UPDATE THE WEBSITE WHEN THE PROCESS IS COMPLETE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE. 

The application that was open, was a Public Housing application for our three (3) and four (4) bedroom waiting list. This was not a Section 8 waiting list.

Only families with the proper household composition will be added to the appropriate three (3) or four (4) bedroom list. 

Bedroom size will be determined using the following guidelines:

• Children of the same sex will share a bedroom.
• Children of the opposite sex, both under the age of three (3), will share a bedroom.
• Adults and children will not be required to share a bedroom. 

For example: 

A mom with two children. One boy one girl both over the age of three will qualify for a three bedroom. A mom with two children of the same sex will not qualify for a three bedroom and will not be added to the waiting list.
